CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT

Community State Bank offers the convenience of investing by offering Certificates of Deposit. Maturity dates range in terms from 90 days to 5 years. Interest is at a fixed rate and can be:

 

Deposited directly into a checking or savings account;

Added to the principal of the Certificate for quarterly compounding; or

Sent to the deposit holder by check.

The opening deposit for a Certificate of Deposit is $1,000.00. The interest penalty for early withdrawal would be 3 months interest or 6 months interest depending on the term of the Certificate.
